Just finished swapping out my fairings on my 2006. Overall I am VERY pleased with the fairings from ebay. I didn't have to elongate any holes. Fit was very good. Paint was good. Have to remember, these things only cost $450 so very minor paint defect here and there is probably something that comes with the territory. I had one little scratch on the tank (most likely from shipping) I e-mailed the seller with a picture and he sent off a whole new tank plastic and said I could keep the one with a scratch as a back up. You don't get that very often. If you are in the market for aftermarket fairings for cheap I'd see what this dude has. Anyway what do you guys think? I have always been a fan of white paint jobs, obviously.

Edit: Which also means I have my silver OEM for sale. PM if interested. They don't have any cracks and are just scratched from being dropped in garage. Never laid down. Mostly in the decals so if you had the time to sand, repaint, reapply decals, they would be practically perfect. Thinking around $650. I'll get around to taking some pics this weekend. Prefer not to part them out.

The seller is dasheng_tieliang

I was kind of on the fence about it myself. I heard so many mixed reviews about buying fairings on eBay. I can't speak for the other sellers but I am happy with the ones I received from this particular one. Who knows, they probably all get them from the same factory somewhere?

Looks sweet, I may need to get myself a backup set! Any melting issues with the lower fairings?

Now you guys got me thinking about the heat lol. Might have to pull them off and put some extra heat shielding. Lots of spare aircraft heat shielding where I work. If it works for jet engines it should work for the CBR :D

I don't really feel like taking them back off again. I'll ride some and see if I notice anything and let you all know. Like I said, it came with some on the lowers. Nothing on the mid but I guess I can pull off the OEM and glue it to the new ones.
